Refund Policy

The short version
- Cancel anytime from your account settings or by emailing wellplacedlive@proton.me.
- You'll keep PRO access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
- We don't offer pro-rata refunds for partial periods.
- Statutory consumer rights still apply where the law gives you a refund.
Cancellation
You can cancel your WellPlaced PRO subscription at any time. After cancellation:
- Your subscription will not auto-renew at the next billing cycle.
- You retain full PRO access until the end of the current paid period (e.g. if you cancel halfway through a month, you keep PRO access for the rest of that month).
- You can resubscribe at any time.
Refunds
Because the Service is a digital subscription delivered immediately, we do not offer refunds for fees already paid for the current billing period (monthly or annual). When you cancel, you simply keep access through the period you've already paid for and are not charged for the next one.
Exceptions — when we will issue a refund
We will refund your most recent payment if any of the following apply:
- Duplicate or accidental charge — e.g. you were charged twice for the same period.
- Service materially unavailable — if the Service was substantially inaccessible for an extended period during your billing cycle due to our fault.
- Unauthorised charge — if your account was used without your consent (we may ask for verification).
- Statutory consumer rights — where the laws of your country (including EU/UK distance-selling rules and certain U.S. state laws) require a refund, we will honour those rights regardless of this Policy.
To request a refund under one of these exceptions, email wellplacedlive@proton.me within 30 days of the charge with your account email and the reason.
How refunds are processed
Refunds are issued by our merchant of record, Paddle.com Market Limited, back to the original payment method. Funds typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer. Currency conversion fees set by your bank are not within our control.
Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please email us first — we usually resolve issues faster than a chargeback. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in suspension of your account while we and Paddle investigate.
Free tier
The WellPlaced free tier is, well, free. There's nothing to refund.
